Mini Club Hungary warmly invites you and your club’s members to the clubs oldest and most stunning Classic Mini meeting of the 2023 season, the
XXVIII. International Mini Weekend
The traditional Summer-Meeting of Mini Club Hungary will be heading back to the beautiful lake Balaton this year, for five days between the 5th and the 9th of July in 2023. The headquarters and the accommodation will be in the south banks of the lake, in Fonyód at „Napsugár” Camping & Pension (H-8640 Fonyód, Vitorlás u. 37.), and according to our intention the vast majority of the Classic Minis from Eastern-Central Europe will be with us during this sunny weekend!
What you are up to, if you decide to come?
Lot of Classic Minis (last year there were 80), comfy mobile houses, pension rooms, tent pitches, lazy beach, cold beer, lovely panorama, quite a few driven kilometers during an orientation rally with calm mood or the excitement of a rocker cover race and last but not least, nice and hot sunshine at this time of the year.

PROGRAMME
5th July (Wednesday)
- Arrival, pitching your tents, free time at the beach
- From 2:00 PM: picking up the keys of houses and apartments
6th July (Thursday)
- 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM Sightseeing trip with our Minis to one of the most extraordinary landscapes of Hungary, Kis-Balaton (Little Balaton), near the south-west corner of Keszthely-bay. Duration: 4 hours
- Free time at the beach in the afternoon
7th July (Friday) – CAR FREE DAY
- From 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM Sightseeing trip without Minis: boat trip to Badacsony with wine tasting (optional). Duration: ca. 7 hours. Costs: train ticket: 500 HUF /ca. 1,4 EUR/ (children 6-14 years: 250 HUF /ca. 0,7 EUR), boat ticket: 3600 HUF /ca. 10 EUR (children 4-14 years: 1800 HUF /ca. 5 EUR)
- OR leisure time at the beach all day long
- 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Rocker cover race. For competition rules click: HERE
8th July (Saturday)
- 9:00 AM: Start of the orientation RALLY. Duration: min. 2, max. 4 hours.
- 11 AM – 2 PM: Arrival back tot he camp, free time at the beach
- 7 PM: Dinner in the campsite (bean stew with deer meat)
- ca 8 PM: Award ceremony (in the campsite or at the beach, depending ont he weather), afterparty (retro disco with DJ Ringo) 400 meters away from the campsite at Sellő Büfé
9th July (Sunday)
- Leaving the accomodation until 10 AM, farewell
Permanent programmes:
Mini paddle boat! Our beautiful red Mini paddle boat, which made its debut at the IMM 2012 in Balatonfüred, will be there again to bring you joy!
- Mini Christmas tree ornament beauty contest: Christmas in July? You will see! Make a creative Christmas tree ornament related to Classic Mini (even more), or bring your existing one with you, or if you have no ideas, just string a Matchbox or Mini badge on a string. What it takes, should be a surprise, but we will also reward the best!
MCH and the organizers reserve the right to change the programme.
REGISTRATION
Not equal to accomodation booking! Anyone who has already submitted their reservation before 31st March must also register for the meeting by filling out the attached registration form. Please fill out the registration form and send it back to info@miniclub.hu not later than 18th June 2023!
Registration fee
Registering before 18th June: 40 EUR/car
Registering after 18th June: 50 EUR/car
The registration fee includes: 1 T-shirt, 1 rallye plaque, 1 sticker, Saturday dinner for 1 person and some surprise during the orientation rally. (The above only till stock lasts, not guaranteed for late registrations.)
For passangers:
Saturday dinner: 3.800 HUF (ca. 11 EUR)/person
T-shirt: 4500 HUF (ca. 12.50 EUR)/pc
ACCOMODATION
In case of participation with a tent, no prior reservation is necessary, just indicate your intention to participate by e-mail at info@miniclub.hu, specifying the number of people and the duration.
If you need an indoor accomodation: booking deadline expired on 31st March, but there are still some free wooden houses and pension rooms. To make a reservation please fill the attached form (Word), and send it back to the following e-mail addresses: marketing@napsugarclub.hu AND info@miniclub.hu. In case you have any questions you can contact our club member in charge Mr. Máté Béres at info@miniclub.hu or the campsite directly to Mrs. Veronika Fritzné Mészáros at fritz.vera@napsugarclub.hu.
Those who will not be staying at the campsite must pay a 1000 HUF/person daily entrance fee at the reception.
